Miami, FL- Edward R. Blumberg, a Miami trial lawyer, was selected as a new member of Board of Trustees of the National Judicial College.
The National Judicial College was created as a way for judges to improve productivity, challenge current perceptions of justice, and inspire judges to achieve judicial excellence. A main responsibility of the Board of Trustees is the promotion and development of innovative and educational programs for judges all around the country. While The National Judicial College is headquartered at the University of Nevada, Reno, its programs for judicial education are held in cities around the country.
Mr. Blumberg received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and Juris Doctor Degree from the College of William and Mary School of Law. He served as the President of The Florida Bar and as a member of the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar. Mr. Blumberg is an active trial lawyer and is board certified in civil trial law from the National Board of Trial Advocacy and The Florida Bar. He is a member of the Trial Bar of The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States 5th and 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, The United States Supreme Court, and The American Board of Trial Advocates.
